วช.ร่วมกับ มก.สร้างพลังเยาวชน ส่งเสริมการออกกำลังกายด้วยศิลปะมวยไทย
ศูนย์กลางความรู้ศิลปะมวยไทยสู่ระดับโลก สำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ ร่วมกับสถาบันมวยไทยแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ภาควิชาพลศึกษาและกีฬา
คณะศึกษาศาสตร์และพัฒนศาสตร์ สมาคมกีฬาบาสเกตบอล 3 คน และบริษัท Shoot it จัดมหกรรมการประกวดศิลปะมวยไทย การร่ายรำไหว้ครูมวยไทยและทักษะมวยไทย
และคีตะมวยไทย ระดับประถมศึกษา และมัธยมศึกษา ขึ้นในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 1 มีนาคม พ.ศ.2569 ณ ศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์คแอนด์สเปลล์ จังหวัดปทุมธานี
โดยมีเยาวชนจากทั่วประเทศเข้าร่วมการประกวด 400 คน ในพิธีปิดการแข่งขัน ได้รับเกียรติจาก ดร.ดำรงค์ ศรีพระราม รักษาการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์รัชด ชมภูนิช รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการนิสิตและพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน และดร.เนตรทราย วงศ์อุปราช นายกสมาคมกีฬาบาสเกตบอล 3 คนและบริษัท shoot its ในการมอบรางวัลและทุนการศึกษาให้กับผู้ที่ชนะเลิศในการประกวดแต่ละประเภท ดังนี้
ชนะเลิศ การร่ายรำไหว้ครูมวยไทยและทักษะมวยไทย ระดับประถมศึกษา ได้แก่ โรงเรียนวัดนางพิมพ์
ชนะเลิศ การร่ายรำไหว้ครูมวยไทยและทักษะมวยไทย ระดับมัธยมศึกษา ได้แก่ โรงเรียนบางแพปฐมพิทยา
ชนะเลิศ คีตะมวยไทย ระดับประถมศึกษา ได้แก่ โรงเรียนบ้านวังไผ่
ชนะเลิศ คีตะมวยไทย ระดับมัธยมศึกษา ได้แก่ โรงเรียนมหาวชิราวุธ จังหวัดสงขลา
ทั้งนี้ ดร.ดำรงค์ ศรีพระราม รักษาการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ กล่าวขอบคุณคณะกรรมการตัดสิน ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา นักกีฬา ผู้ฝึกสอน และหน่วยงานที่ให้การสนับสนุนการจัดกิจกรรมทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งออกกำลังกายด้วยศิลปะมวยไทยเป็นกิจกรรมที่ได้รับความนิยมมากในปัจจุบัน สามารถช่วยเสริมสร้างให้ร่างกายแข็งแรง ควบคู่กับการเรียนรู้ศิลปะมวยไทย ฝึกความสามัคคี และการทำงานร่วมกัน โดยมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ยินดีและพร้อมจัดกิจกรรมด้านมวยไทยให้กับทุกคนต่อไปในอนาคต

NRCT and Kasetsart University Empower Youth through Muay Thai-Based Physical Activity
Hub of Muay Thai Knowledge to World Class Hub, under the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), in collaboration with The Kasetsart University Muay Thai acadmy, the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Education and Development Sciences, the 3x3 Basketball Sports Association, and Shoot It Co., Ltd., proudly organized a Muay Thai Arts Competition Festival.
The event featured competitions in Wai Kru Ram Muay (traditional pre-fight ritual dance) and Muay Thai skill demonstrations, as well as Muay Thai Keta (choreographed Muay Thai performance), at both primary and secondary education levels. It was held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Future Park and Spell Shopping Center, Pathum Thani Province.
The festival attracted over 400 youth participants from across the country, showcasing their proficiency in Muay Thai techniques, cultural expression, and performance excellence.
The closing ceremony and award presentation were honored by:
- Dr. Damrong Sriphraram, Acting President of Kasetsart University
- Assistant Professor Ratchada Chompoonuch, Vice President for Student Affairs and Sustainable Development
- Dr. Netsai Wongsuparach, President of the 3x3 Basketball Sports Association and Shoot It Co., Ltd.
They presented awards and scholarships to winners in each category as follows:
Winners
- Wai Kru Ram Muay and Muay Thai Skills (Primary Level): Wat Nang Phim School
- Wai Kru Ram Muay and Muay Thai Skills (Secondary Level): Bangphae Pathom Pittaya School
- Muay Thai Keta (Primary Level): Ban Wang Phai School
- Muay Thai Keta (Secondary Level): Mahavajiravudh School, Songkhla Province
On this occasion, Dr. Damrong Sriphraram expressed his sincere appreciation to the panel of judges, school administrators, athletes, coaches, and supporting organizations from both the public and private sectors for their contributions to the success of the event.
He emphasized that Muay Thai as a form of physical exercise is increasingly popular and plays a vital role in enhancing physical fitness, while simultaneously preserving Thailand’s cultural heritage. Moreover, it fosters discipline, unity, and teamwork among youth participants.
Kasetsart University remains committed to promoting and organizing Muay Thai-related activities for the public and youth in the future, supporting its development on a global platform.
