Workshop on “Identity and Distinctive Characteristics of Muay Thai in Physical Education”
Hub of Muay Thai knowledge to world class (MTK) organized a workshop entitled “Identity and Distinctive Characteristics of Muay Thai in Physical Education” on 4 December 2024 at the Convention Hall, University Center Building, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus. The workshop aimed to disseminate comprehensive knowledge on the historical development, identity, distinctive characteristics, fundamental techniques, Mae Mai Muay Thai, Luk Mai Muay Thai, Muay Thai routines, tactical principles, and cultural traditions associated with the Physical Education lineage of Muay Thai.
The instructional sessions were delivered by Ajarn Jarasdej Ulit, a grandmaster of the Physical Education lineage of Muay Thai, together with his instructional team. A total of 114 participants from six public and private sector organizations attended the workshop—exceeding the targeted number. Following the workshop, the Center disseminated the instructional materials through its official website and subsequently developed a formal training curriculum to support knowledge transfer related to the Physical Education lineage of Muay Thai.

The Global Center for Muay Thai Knowledge has published the materials on its official website and developed a professional training curriculum for continued dissemination of knowledge on the Physical Education lineage of Muay Thai.
